I mainly play bass, though I can dabble around on the guitar a little bit. I've played both for about
6 years now. I mainly like to play Jazz/Blues/Funk, but really whatever is fine. I'm currently taking
classical bass lessons at the University of North Texas.
Another interest of mine in the realm of music is recording. I have a Fostex MR-8 recorder and I have
used it over the years to record music for friends and just personally. I've also used Audacity for
editing and mixing.
I've been involved in various music projects since I've started playing music, and the only one that
has really stuck around and still collaborates is The Gentleman's Frequency which got formed during
the Fall semester of 2008 and has performed live on a few occasions. A live recording can be heard

As far as just general interest in music, I enjoy anything that involves interesting rhythms or melodies
or harmonies. If it just sounds too bland then I don't really like it. I've got a lot of interest in the
post-rock genre. I also really enjoy noise rock for its interesting use of rhythm. A glimpse of the kind
