About My Topic During Fire Safety Week, held in the beginning of October every year, it is important to teach the safety procedures and tips to children to spread awareness about Fire Prevention. During this week, students will learn how to create escape routes for their schools and homes, learn key ways to keep your home safe and to prevent accidents from happening. In this site there are a number of links to software and websites that give a great deal of information through games, virtual tours, and much more. Feel free to look around and enjoy your time. About Me My name is Samantha Sara Watson. I am from New York, but have lived in Texas the majority of my life. There is nothing I love more than teaching and molding young minds. I spent a lot of time in High School volunteering at the local Elementary school in order to get some background working with children. I currently volunteer weekly at the Nelson Center in Denton, TX.
