Austin wanted everyone to have the zeal for God
that he had.  I would love to see more people
come to know Christ and the Holy Spirit the way
he did!

Praise God for Austin's life and the impact he is having on 
others through his death.  "Precious in the sight of the Lord is 
the death of his saints."  Psalms 116:15.  I thank God that Austin 
was a believer and pray that you are too.  If not, please write to 
one of these people to find out more about Jesus and how he can change 
your life.  Your time is short in this life on earth.  We want you to 
be in heaven with us and God in the life to come. 

Austin was my beloved son.  Although part of my heart has been torn 
away, I am comforted in the knowledge that Austin is exactly where he wants 
to be, worshipping at the throne of God.  When he isn't dancing before the 
Lord, Austin, with fire in his eyes and dressed in white is riding a white 
horse through the heavenlies in the army of the Lord fighting spiritual 
battles.  Austin is a warrior for the Kingdom of God. My prayer for those 
of you who read this page is that you will commit your lives to Jesus Christ 
and come to know the abundant life my precious children--Eyon, Austin, Andrew 
and Mae Beth--their mother, grandparents, uncles and aunts, and cousins know 
in Christ.  In fact, I praise God that even the drunk driver whose 
irresponsible behavior killed my Austin has invited Christ into his heart.  
Jesus will never disappoint you.  "Though thou slay me, God, yet will I 
praise thee!"  Mitch Land

My prayer is that my life and yours will be an example 
of Christ and a vehicle of God's Love to others as 
Austin's and each member of the Land's family.

Austin was an incredible person filled with life, love
and the Holy Spirit.  He was contagious with the love of
Jesus and his desire to share that love with others.  
Eventhough he is dead, his spirit lives on in heaven with
our Lord and Savior Jesus. I hope the message of Austin's
death will bring life and hope to all who hear.

Austin's ferver for Christ was clear to everyone who
knew him.  There is no question that he is at this very
moment with his Father and Savior in Heaven.  I look 
forward to the day when I can see Austin again when 
Christ calls me home to Heaven.

Austin was my best friend.  He and his family brought
me to know the Lord in a very special way.  Not just as
this far off figure, but as a close friend, a confadant.
I came to know what it truly meant to love Jesus with 
ALL of your heart.  I miss him.  I miss the spuratic
fishing trips, and nights at the gym stunting and tumbling.
I find comfort, however, in the fact that my best friend
is delighting in the presence of our Father, and maker,
Jesus Christ.  If anyone is reading this who dosen't know
Chirst as their personal savior, please talk to someone 
who can help you out.  I will be more than happy to share
with you some of the wonderful things Austin shared with
me.  I can not thank Austin or his awesome family enough.
Because of them, I live forever in Heaven!  Praise God!!

I am sure Austin is now living a happy eternal life in
heaven with all the blessings of Jesus. May God give
strength to his family to bear his absence in this world.

What a beautiful memorial you have created to your brother.
My prayers go out to your family during this difficult time.

I mourn with you the loss of your child, and pray that your faith 
is strong and your memories of him and the good times remain vivid.

I know that my life has been touched by Austin and I did not 
even know him.
I pray to have that same kind of passion very soon!

I didn't have the chance to know Austin, but I met him once
and I was so impressed by him. He gave off so much passion.
I will never forget this moment.

I've known Austin since his birth day.  Austin lived
every minute to it's fullest, usually worried that he
may have wasted a second or two.  
Austin and his best friend and cousin, Luke would drive 
non-stop, the 900 miles to my home in Georgia in order to
make the water before sunrise.  The skiing then was perfect
because the water was just like glass!  When Austin was
here there were few breaks and we played hard!
I will always remember his laugh, it usually followed a
practical joke on someone.

Your Uncle Dudley Misses You

Austin's death has touched the my life and the life of my fiance, 
Billy.  I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to know Austin, 
only a smiling face passing in the halls of GAB because I am always in 
Dr. Land's office.  I have heard many wonderful things about him through 
friends and Dr.Land and can only say that their strenght through this 
saddening ordeal has been astounding to me.  I have never seen death 
dealt with in such a way.  The love they have for Jesus Christ has touched 
me and Billy's lives.  We want what the Land family and friends have---that 
solid faith.  Even though I did not know Austin, I believe the family's faith 
is symbolic of the life Austin led.  That inspires me and Billy.  I truly 
believe Austin is watching from above and sees the way he has touched people 
and I believe that there is nothing more he could have ever wanted.  
Being that this is a very difficult situation for me to understand-how 
someone like Austin could be taken away from his friends and family so 
tragically-But the way Austin was on this earth and the way his family is, 
somehow I feel peace from this tragedy.  To Ashley, I pray that God is with 
you.  Your loss is too great to ever truly be explained by words. Knowing 
what it feels like to love someone so deeply myself, my heart aches for you. 
I know Austin must be proud of you right now.

Austin was beautiful both spiritually and outwardly.  
He lived life to the fullest, and he didn't miss a trick.  
I love Austin, and I will always miss his presence.  

Although I have never met Austin, I have recognized his 
presence in hearing his cousin Haley talk about him.  
He sounds like a great guy.  It's very apparent that 
his life had a large impact on many people.  My prayers 
are with all of his family.

Dear Eyon,
	I am a very satisfied man. But now, after viewing the memorial 
of your brother, you wouldn't know, how i wish i had one, just one brother.

Dear Austin,

I will always remember my special nephew who never failed to make
me laugh.  Your enthusiasm was contagious and your smile the very 
sunshine.  Our summers won't be the same without your visits and 
all our family gatherings will be a little less jovial.  But as we
celebrate this Lenten season,  we are renewed by the promise of the 
resurection we celebrate.  We too will "arise" and be a complete family
once again.  Thank you sweet boy for making us remember the joy of living
in Christ.

Austin was a cousin of mine. He was very special to me
and I miss him very much.  He came down every summer 
and spent almost all of his time with me. He always 
took me where ever I wanted to go. We went bowling and
skiing everyday while he was here. It won't be the same
this summer without him. I looked up to him and admired
his pesonality and view of life. I know his view of 
life is alot better now that he is in Heaven. Austin 
would definately love all the attention he is getting.
He will remain a good memory in my mind but I wish he
was still here.

May God give you all peace in this time of trouble.  You are all in my prayers.
