Ashli Alexander

Austin came to my house Wednesday, February 21st like he did every night-we always spent as much time together as possible with both our busy schedules. We knew there was not much time left before he had to get ready to go to his night job...although this night seemed much different. Austin commented on how he wished he didn't have to leave and I felt as if time was slipping away. Austin hugged me and we kissed-he held my hands and prayed for me about my life and future. We said "I love you" to one another and eight minutes later...he was hit head on by a drunk driver. My name is Ashli Alexander and I was Austin Land's fiancee-we were to be married on July 12th of this summer. GOD put the love in our hearts for each other and we focussed on Jesus Christ as the center of our relationship. The love God allowed me to experience through Austin was completely unconditional and he never failed to lavish his love on me. Just holding each other's hands satisfied our every desire! Austin and I met at Eaglemount church in Lewisville, Texas where we regularly attended renewasl services. The main thing that attracted me to Austin when we first met was his passion for Jesus. He was a strong athletic man, gymnast and model. He had no fear of man-he would dance in church before the Lord with a huge smile on his face and eyes closed. When you looked at him his love for Jesus radiated through him. Austin's life became consumed with Jesus and all he desired was to know Him more! This transforming love of God poured out onto other like myself, his family, friends, and even strangers. Austin had a true concept of the love of God that sets people free from daily struggles and past hurts. He knew that continuosly being in God's presence was lifechanging. He believed earth is like a dream and heaven is reality. the loss of Austin on earth is great, but God is greater! Jesus is always there with his arms open wide to hold us and pick us up-to love us unconditionally. Austin would tell you that Jesus is the answer! To tell people how to accept Jesus into their hearts so they could experience all God has for them- the promises of greater life and love on earth and in heaven-instead of pain and hurt and constant torment in hell was his desire. The thought of people not knowing Jesus ripped his heart. John 14:6 reads..."I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Revelation 3:20 reads "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. I fanyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." There is hope for your life! Turn your heart to Jesus and he will heal your past, your present, and your future. Allow Jesus to consume your heart and give you fullness of life-Jesus is the ANSWER! Life is short! Do you know that if your life ended at any moment that you would spend eternity in the living presence of Jesus and have fulllness of life? I urge you to seek Jesus witha ll your heart-what He will do in you will be lifechanging!
