Werewolves are real. Alexander never knew, but Karen does. Karen knows, because she is one. When girl meets boy, Alex’s entire world gets turned on end, because his whole body does as well when he is thrown across the shoulder of Karen’s alter ego, K’taryn, and is stolen away into the night. Alex’s search for a warm bed and nubile companion turns into the reality of an uncomfortable mat and a female with a certain aversion to fleas. What he expects to be a snarling beast turns into someone just as intelligent as he, and, when he becomes just the same as she, he comes to the revelation that she never was that different from him even when he was just a man.
Luna's Child is a story about K'taryn's life a year after her initial change, and how during one full moon her goddess, Luna, tells her to find a man to initiate into her pack because he will be a catalyst for change. What is offered here is the introduction into that story, leading up to Alex's initial change and his being brought to the pack's home.
Children of Luna is the prequel, in which Karen is first introduced to the life of the pack, and how it tears her away from her relationships, friends, and throws her into a world of confrontation with her new alpha male, Katsune.
Currently I am looking for an agent and publisher for Luna's Child, which is complete, but I felt that in the meantime it would be nice to share part of it and Children of Luna with the world. Thanks for stopping by and having a look, and feel free to comment on anything you see here.

(11/07/07) Two character stories added. Twilight, Katsune's transformation, which is a touch graphic, and Growth, a much more palatable recount of Julee's change in flashback.
Luna's Child, K'taryn, Alex, and all related material on this website is (c)2003 W. Knox. Any resemblence to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental. Do I really have to say that, though? It's a book about werewolves! If you've read this far , then you know better than to point out about how your auntie Sarah who was a lycanthrope. O-ho-ho, you won't catch me that easily. Now go have a cookie or something.
