Peace Studies

I have been interested in Peace Studies since I came to the University of North Texas. Although I have been interested in Eco-politics for the most of my academic career, I found out that peace studies and eco-politics are not that different because both fields concern life on earth. Only the forms of life that they concern are different. Maybe I can say that peace studies includes eco-politics in a broad sense. Both of them are the politics of life.

My researches in Peace Studies are based on my belief that collective evolution of human consciousness and awareness are critical to bring peace on the earth.
