This section of the web site is designed to provide information about disability as classified by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The disabilities are listed alphabetically, with approximately two links for each one. The first link provides general information on the disability, and the second link focuses more on instructional adaptations for that disability.

Note: Categories of disabilities listed below reflect those of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). For this reason, information on a disability such as cerebral palsy would be found in the section under Mental Retardation (and other developmental disabilities).
