Name of Site: Band-Aids and Blackboards
Purpose of Site: This site gives students with chronic illnesses and disabilities a chance to read about the life experiences of kids just like them and it offers a space for them to post their artwork or narratives.
Recommended Sections: The site is divided into three sections: “Kids,” “Teens,” and “Adults.” The first two sections include the narratives of children with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The last section includes a list of resources for parents and teachers of children with chronic illnesses.
