| We are pleased to announce our newest litter
sired by one of our new import males, SVF Efe of Turkmen. Efe is an impressive young male.
At 18 months, Efe is already 32" at the withers. He is classic in every way. Visitors have been struck by his disposition. Although he is an intact male, he has two 7 month old "buddies" sharing a run with him. His disposition with people he is introduced to and with his animal companions is everything we want in a Kangal Dog.

| Efe has structure we want to see in a pure
Turkish Kangal Dog of this age. His mastiff heritage is obvious in the drop ears,
the broad skull and muzzle, the small eye, the kind but watchful disposition. In addition,
his coloring is classic, as is his highset, tightly curled tail. Efe was bred to Turkmen Cicek, and their pups arrived in early December. Cicek is a wonderful mother, keeping the pups warm and well-fed in spite of nighttime temperatures in the teens! While the litter is small, we feel fortunate to have had the chance to progeny test this young import male so quickly! Our goal is to breed the kind of dogs we met in Turkey. We feel that we are succeeding. This current litter is an example. Cicek is the daughter of another Turkmen import, Cafer's Cesur of Turkmen. |

What's that? This observant female pup at 6 weeks has begun to show the attentiveness and the curled tail so typical in the breed. |
